HOTEL PROPERTY MANAGER
Job Description:
- An apartment-style hotel, currently with 21 apartments, is planning to expand and add another 24 studio units to its portfolio and needs an experienced Hotel Property Manager to help with its development, construction and operation.
- During the construction phase, you will be responsible for liaising with the construction contractors and providing them with directives from management to ensure that the construction is in the make, specification and quality desired by the owners. You will also be responsible for site visits and monitoring the ongoing construction for any deficiencies or damage and making comprehensive reports for the review of the owners.
- In the role of hotel manager you would be responsible for the day-to-day management of a hotel and its staff. You would have commercial accountability for budgeting and financial management, planning, organizing and directing all hotel services, including front-of-house (reception, concierge, reservations), food and beverage operations, and housekeeping. You will also be responsible for marketing available units to clients and must have sales experience or skill. You must also be available at all times (on-call) 24-hours a day to answer calls relating to emergencies or urgent guest concerns that the on-site staff could not handle on their own after hours.
- While taking a strategic overview and planning ahead to maximize profits, the manager must also pay attention to the details, setting the example for staff to deliver a standard of service and presentation that meets guests' needs and expectations. Business and people management are equally important elements.
- You will also be required to perform Property Management tasks related to maintaining the surroundings and interiors of the property, the attraction, retention and signing on of new commercial tenants, the collection of overdue accounts, the notification of violations of tenants, among other things.
Responsibilities
- Planning and organizing accommodation, catering and other hotel services;
- Promoting and marketing the business;
- Managing budgets and financial plans as well as controlling expenditure;
- Maintaining statistical and financial records;
- Setting and achieving sales and profit targets;
- Analyzing sales figures and devising marketing and revenue management strategies;
- Recruiting, training and monitoring staff;
- Planning work schedules for individuals and teams;
- Meeting and greeting customers;
- Dealing with customer complaints and comments;
- Addressing problems and troubleshooting;
- Supervising maintenance, supplies, renovations and furnishings;
- Dealing with contractors and suppliers;
- Ensuring security is effective;
- Carrying out inspections of property and services;
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
Salary
- Salary package: PHP 40,000.00
