FRONT OFFICE SUPERVISOR
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare forecast of room occupancy, monitor actual room occupancy against forecast, prepare and submit daily room occupancy report
  • Prepare budget for front office operations
  • Make rounds and check service of front office staff and call their attention for whatever deficiencies noted
  • Personally meet and attend to VIPs and other important guests
  • Attend to guest complaints, inquiries and requests
  • Maintain a logbook on critical incidents, complaints of guest
  • Coordinate with Security/Resort Manager/General Manager in the investigation of guest reports on security matters
  • Supervise the checking of room discrepancies and inspection or preparation of rooms blocked for VIPs
  • Oversee the implementation of Front Office policies and procedures
  • Coordinate closely with other departments to ensure prompt, efficient and satisfactory service to hotel members and guests
  • Enforce all cash-handling, check-cashing and credit policies
  • Check guest folio or master folio whether all information are properly documented i.e. bills, credit limit, etc.
  • Receive night report from Housekeeping and Front Office regarding occupancy, out-of-order rooms, inventory of supplies and other documents and make a progress report during Operations meeting
  • Call for and preside over operational meeting among staff
  • Participate in the selection of Front office staff
  • Train, cross-train, retrain all front office staff
  • Supervise workloads during shifts
  • Evaluate job performance of each front office employee
  • Maintain master key control
  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned by superior
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • College graduate
  • With at least 5 years experience in front office operations with the last two (2) years as manager or supervisor preferably in a five-star hotel
  • With organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Computer literate, knowledgeable of hotel front office system preferred
  • Able to motivate subordinates
  • With good leadership and management skills

STEWARD

Job Description:
- Reporting to the Chief Steward, Assistant Chief Steward and Steward Supervisor, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow Colleagues
  • Operate an industrial dishwasher
  • Ensure the kitchen Colleagues have the dishes/silverware required and guests have clean dishes
  • Sort, stack dishes, and load/unload dishwasher
  • Sort, stack and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner
  • Ensure all breakages and chipped items are removed from circulation and inventoried
  • Ensure floors are dry and clean at all times
  • Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Must be a highly motivated individual
  • Must be flexible with shift work hours
  • Prior experience and asset
  • 1 to 4 years experience
  • Must be able to perform physically under pressure
  • Must be able to handle a hot working environment
  • Must be able to operate, lift, push and pull heavy equipment
