General Responsibilities:

Head chef take part in the creation of recipes and the preparation of advanced items, while assigning less complicated tasks to sous chefs and cooks. Head Chef's primary duty is the continued efficiency of the kitchen and production of consistent, quality food.

Job Specifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Food and Beverage Services Management, or Hospitality/Hotel Management or Degree of Culinary Science or related certificate.
• At least 2 – 3 years of Hospitality experience as Head Chef.
• Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management.
• Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress.
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
• Must be Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes.

Is currently looking for:

 

WESTERN HEAD CHEF

 

Schedule: 6 days a week

 

Purpose:

• The Head Chef (Western) is responsible for overseeing the operations inside the western kitchen or dining facility. He is also responsible for the food that comes out of the kitchen, from conception to execution.

Qualifications:

• Good in verbal and written English
• A graduate of Culinary Arts, HRM or any related courses
• Must have atleast 6 years working experience on the same field
• With TESDA certification is a plus
• Good Interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Must have creativity and ability to think outside the box
• Must have the ability to prioritize workload and work with demanding task and strict deadlines
• Must be knowledgeable in Costing, Portioning, PAR Stocking, Inventory and has diverse knowledge in Western Cuisine
• Willing to render overtime work if necessary to finish task or assist possible concerns or queries
